How to Cancel or Remove Gamban

Gamban is intentionally designed to be difficult to remove during your subscription period. This is a core feature of the software — it helps maintain your self-exclusion commitment even during moments of temptation. However, there are legitimate circumstances where you may need to cancel or remove it.

Step 1 — Contact Gamban Support

Email Gamban's support team at support@gamban.com and request cancellation. Include your registered email address, the devices Gamban is installed on, and your reason for requesting removal.

Step 2 — Cooling-Off Period

Gamban may require a cooling-off period before processing your removal request. This is designed to prevent impulsive decisions made during moments of gambling urges. The typical cooling-off period is 24–48 hours, though this may vary.

Step 3 — Responsible Gambling Assessment

In some cases, Gamban may ask you to confirm that you have spoken with a gambling support service or completed a brief assessment before they process the removal. This is a safeguard to ensure the removal is in your best interest.

Step 4 — Subscription Expiry

If you simply do not renew your Gamban subscription when it expires, the blocking will cease automatically. Subscriptions are typically annual (approximately £24.99/year). Check your account settings for your renewal date and turn off auto-renewal if applicable.

Step 5 — Device Uninstallation
